Alcatel LINKZONE is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X5 LTE (9207) modem with support for multi-mode capabilities and LTE Cat.4 download speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s. The modem has a built-in ARM Cortex A7 @ 1.2 GHz processor for running programs directly on the modem. Thanks to the modem from Qualcomm, the router has a stable connection to the cellular network without overheating, crashes and reboots.
Support for all 3G and 4G frequency bands used by Ukrainian mobile operators will allow to use the Internet in isolated areas and on highways, where 4G coverage is only in the B20 800 MHz band. Mobile Internet settings of Ukrainian operators are already installed in the memory of Alcatel LINKZONE, so to connect to the Internet and organize a Wi-Fi network, the user only needs to insert a SIM card with a data tariff and turn on the router.
The Wi-Fi network of the Wi-Fi4 802.11 b/g/n 2.4 GHz 2×2 MIMO router allows to organize the simultaneous connection of up to 10 Wi-Fi devices. This will be enough to connect smart devices (WEB camera, smart light bulbs or sockets, etc.) in the country, provide friends with Wi-Fi Internet while traveling, create a Wi-Fi space for customers of a store, service station or beauty salon, if there is no cable connection to the Internet. The Wi-Fi network and mobile Internet can be controlled remotely from a smartphone or tablet using the LINK application with Ukrainian interface.
Alcatel LINKZONE can operate as a USB modem when connected to a PC or laptop via cable. The modem is automatically identified by the operating system as a virtual network card (RNDIS adapter). Instant access to the Internet from a laptop in any place with 3G/4G network coverage will be without any connection settings, drivers or additional programs.
Alcatel LINKZONE has a removable battery with a capacity of 2,150 mAh, so it can operate autonomously for 7 hours. To increase the battery life, the user can use a more powerful mobile battery (PowerBank) by connecting it to the microUSB port of the router. If the task is to use the router in 24/7 mode, it will be enough to connect the router via a 5V/2A charger to the power grid. It is necessary to remove the battery in advance in order not to reduce the resource of charge-discharge cycles and to extend its service life.
Support for the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) function facilitates the process of connecting Wi-Fi devices to the protected wireless network of the router without entering an access password. For example, using the WPS button, the user can quickly connect a printer or Wi-Fi signal amplifier to the router.
