hansgrohe is a powerful German brand of sanitary ware and accessories with more than 120 years of success. The company was founded by entrepreneur Hans Grohe in 1901 in the small town of Schiltach. He predicted that the shower could become an affordable and economical alternative to the long and expensive process of bathing in the bathtub.
Already in 1928, a convenient and mobile hand shower with a porcelain handle, invented by Hans Grohe, gained considerable popularity among consumers. Klaus Grohe's two sons continue the family business tradition. Richard Grohe contributed to the transformation of the German brand hansgrohe into a world-renowned premium brand of sanitary ware and accessories. And his brother Philip Grohe was responsible for the design brand AXOR for 15 years and won international recognition for it.
