Target: To enhance ERC's country-wide reputation and profitability by championing an ERC brand.
Job description and key accountabilities:
1. Project Management:
- Co-ordinate and lead large, cross-functional teams to deliver brand strategies or re-launches.
- Communicate and influence the staff at every level throughout the business to ensure that brand performance standards are achieved.
- Compile statistics and ad hoc reports on performance of the brand in response to internal and external customer requests.
- Monitor third party suppliers.
- Monitor third party supplier performance and highlight any shortfalls or opportunities to enhance the product. To ensure that the suppliers’ performance is within the terms of existing agreements
- Carry out research into competitor activities providing an update report on a weekly basis
2. Product Development:
- Develop clear, well-documented brand position, measurable product specifications and performance standards, including forward brand strategies.
3. Advertising and promotions:
- Commission effective advertising and communications to promote brand offering internally and externally.
- Provide comprehensive support package for the Marketing Department, including campaign administration, performance reporting, client/agency liaison and venue for marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with advertising and promotions agencies or suppliers to ensure that all copy or materials are available by deadlines
- Co-ordinate information for marketing team to deliver marketing strategies, re-launches, fairs and events
4. Research:
- Commission and interpret market research on own customer segment, including up-to-date competitor information.
- Update and validate the marketing database to ensure that information is current and secure
5. Voice of the Customer:
- Champion the requirements of the customer in every aspect of how the brand is delivered
6. Business results:
- Monitor and report on the performance of the brand in terms of revenue, profit and customer satisfaction
