The KS 4000iES ATS inverter generator has a built-in AVR unit and can work both in manual and automatic mode. The OFF-RUN rotary switch on the right side of the generator combines the fuel tap, 12V internal power switch and ignition switch. When the generator is not in use, it must remain in the OFF position to prevent the generator's lithium battery from discharging. The generator comes with a disconnected battery, which must be connected under the left cover before first use. The battery is charged from the internal charging module, during the operation of the generator, or when there is a voltage of 230 V at the MAINSINPUT (regardless of the position of the rotary switch).
