An alternative offer of a compact budget case for a basic computer system is the 2E Basis RD863-400 model.

The case chassis is made of 0.5 mm steel. The front panel is made of textured plastic. The design is almost identical to the previous model. The case is designed for 2 (or 1) 3.5" and 3 (or 2) 2.5" drives and has a standard number of expansion slots - 4 pcs. There are 5.25" compartments - 2 pcs. The length of the video card should not exceed 320 mm.

The case has a built-in power supply unit (upper placing), which is equipped with connectors for powering the motherboard, processor and other system components. The power supply unit is suitable for office PCs with an elementary base.

Cooling of the components is carried out through the holes on the back panel and the perforation of the side panel. It is possible to install a 120 or 80 mm fan on the front panel and an 80 mm fan on the rear panel. As for processor cooling, there is a height limit of 142 mm.
