LG Electronics presents an advanced line, led by 2022 OLED TVs. Thanks to powerful image processing technologies and improved webOS, new LG models provide higher viewing quality and a better user experience.

LG OLED

OLED TVs use self-illuminating pixels, that can be switched on and off individually to deliver perfect blacks, incredibly natural colors and infinite contrast.

Models of the new G2 series are equipped with an improved LG OLED panel, which will give you an incredible viewing experience. In addition, the next-generation OLED evo panel technology in the G2 series and in some C2 models provides higher brightness for an ultra-realistic image with amazing clarity and detail. With the new LG α (Alpha) 9 Gen 5 intelligent processor, the Brightness Booster technology enables the TVs G2 series to provide even greater brightness thanks to improved heat dissipation and an improved algorithm.

The LG OLED G2 2022 series includes a new 83-inch model and the world’s first 97-inch OLED model, complementing the line, that already includes 55-, 65- and 77-inch TVs. OLED G2 stands out with the attractive sophistication of the Gallery design, which makes the TV one with the wall.

The C2 series offers a choice of six screen sizes: the world’s first 42-inch OLED TV, perfect for console and PC gaming, as well as 48-, 55-, 65-, 77-, 83-inch. This series of OLED TVs is distinguished by thinner frames and a more elegant TV design.

Faster and Smarter

At the heart of most new LG TV models is the α9 Gen 5 processor, which uses deep learning to improve performance when zooming and give the image on the screen more volume, making foreground and background elements sharper relative to each other. The α9 Gen 5 processor also extends the capabilities of LG AI Sound Pro to provide viewers with virtual 7.1.2 surround sound.

Updated User Interface

The latest version of the innovative LG Smart TV platform enlivens the user experience on new LG TVs, providing maximum convenience and facilitating the search for content. WebOS 22 offers personal profiles so that users can enjoy a more personalized browsing experience. Within each profile, viewers can set up quick access to their favorite streaming services, receive personalized content recommendations based on viewing history, and real-time notifications to follow their favorite sports teams. Access to profiles can be done both through the TV browser and from a smartphone with the NFC Magic Tap function.

The NFC Magic Tap function can also be used to mirror the screen of a mobile device on an LG TV. Viewers can mirror content from one TV to another using the Room To Room Share feature to watch cable or satellite content over Wi-Fi without an additional set-top box. The Always Ready function, which is easy to configure in the TV menu, is activated by pressing the power button on the LG remote control and turns the screen into a digital canvas for displaying artwork, tracking the time or playing music.

The updated ThinQ AI provides easy voice control and compatibility with other ThinQ-based devices. It also offers support for Matter. It is a new industry standard for a more secure and uninterrupted smart home setup, enabling LG TVs to act as a controller for connected devices.

Unsurpassed Image Quality

Recognized by consumers, technical experts and the biggest stars in the film industry, LG OLED TVs continue to raise the bar for picture quality. The panels used in the 2022 OLED lines have been certified by the international product testing agency Intertek for 100 percent color accuracy and 100 percent color volume. LG OLED TVs are unique in their ability to reproduce colors in their original form, no matter how bright or dark the image may be.

All 2022 LG OLED TVs are flicker-free, certified by Rheinland and Underwriters Laboratories, and glare-free, certified by UL. LG’s OLED panels have also been certified by TÜV Rheinland for their low level of blue light emission and are the first in the world to meet the requirements of Eyesafe, the American sanitary standards agency. LG TVs not only allow content creators to evaluate the accuracy of color reproduction, but also enable users to watch movies as intended by their creators, as they were the first in 2021 to introduce automatic switching to Filmmaker Mode when watching Amazon Prime video content.

Unrivaled in Gaming

For years, LG OLED has been a first in gaming: the first OLED TV to support NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and the first 8K OLED TV to showcase 8K games with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards. With a 1ms response time, low input lag and up to four HDMI 2.1 ports, it’s no wonder LG OLED is a great choice for console and PC gamers. And thanks to the support of NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Google Stadia cloud gaming platforms, gamers can have fun just by connecting a compatible controller.

New opportunities in 2022: LG users can easily switch between game modes and display presets directly from the TV’s Game Optimizer menu. The Game Optimizer menu provides quick access to the new Dark Room Mode, which adjusts the screen brightness for a more comfortable game when the lights are off. Settings for G-SYNC Compatible, FreeSync Premium and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) are available with Game Optimizer. What’s more, the new sports mode brings together presets for first-person shooters, as well as role-playing and real-time strategy games, providing more detail for even greater realism.

LG 2022 models provide excellent image quality, offer a larger selection of screen sizes and provide new smart services.

The global premium TV market leader for nine years and a CES Innovation Award winner for eight consecutive years, LG’s OLED TV has transformed the premium TV segment to become the #1 choice for millions of consumers worldwide.
